About COLLABORATE
The goal of COLLABORATE is to create an enhanced educational experience for students, by providing faculty with a rich set of supported technologies to use as part of their instructional efforts, and by providing students with access to instructional materials and tools in classrooms, computer labs and on the Internet.
COLLABORATE is based on the L&S Instructional Technology Enhancement Initiative (2010), which identified service targets of course management systems, on-line instructional materials and tools (such as lectures, readings, tutorials, rich media, research and reference materials, quizzes, assignment submissions, grading, file-sharing, communication and collaboration tools), computer-based instructional labs, classroom presentation and interaction tools, and online academic advising and student support services. COLLABORATE also works closely with other campus instructional technology efforts, providing enhancements to address specific needs, filling gaps between services, and coordinating new and existing services to provide a coherent set of offerings to faculty and students.
