WHAT IS THE STUDENT SUPPORT CENTER?
"Where can I print on campus?" "Where can I go to get help using Photoshop?"
The COLLABORATE Student Support Center [SSC] at UC Santa Barbara can answer all of these questions and more.
The goal of COLLABORATE is to create an enhanced educational experience for students in L&S courses by providing faculty with a rich set of supported technologies to use as part of their instructional efforts, and by providing students with supported access to instructional materials and tools in classrooms, computer labs, and on the Internet. The SSC was created to support student use of all COLLABORATE and other campus instructional services.
Supported services include:
- Scheduled and Open Access computer labs throughout campus
- Printing services - including 300 pgs. free printing per quarter to L&S students in COLLABORATE labs
- U-Mail Help Desk (Phelps 1521)
- UCSBnetID support
- UCSB Wireless Web support
- Gauchospace
